Cape Cod Striped Bass Charters
Join Tighten Up Charters for one of Cape Cod’s most popular inshore fishing trips — targeting trophy striped bass along the Cape’s beautiful coastline.
Cape Cod is home to some of the best striped bass fishing in the Northeast. Each spring, stripers migrate into local waters chasing sand eels, mackerel, and squid — creating world-class light tackle opportunities.

Striped bass season is upon us, and we’ll be targeting them through the end of June or until the tuna arrive. June and July are prime months for explosive topwater bites, when bass feed aggressively along the surface.

Due to the recent decline in striped bass populations, we’ve decided to make all of our trips strictly catch and release. We’re committed to helping these incredible fish return to the numbers of the past and shifting the focus to what truly matters — the experience of the fight, not how much meat makes it home.

Rates & Availability
Striper trips are all about excitement and action. We’ll chase birds, work rips, and cast topwater plugs or soft plastics to feeding fish. Each trip is tailored to the tide, conditions, and your goals, whether it’s light tackle casting, topwater mayhem, or family-friendly fun close to shore. ​

The best time to fish for striped bass around Cape Cod is late May through early July, when schools of migrating fish flood the bays and rips.

Charter fishing is a not only a hobby, it’s a way of life here on Cape Cod. Once you leave the dock you are in a completely different world. For a highly personalized experience, for beginners or experienced anglers, the captain will outfit you with the proper equipment and teach you how to read the water for signs of striped bass, bluefish, tuna, and even sharks.
*Don't forget to bring your camera. Most days you will see whales and sometimes porpoises.
Cancellation Policy:
Deposits are refundable if cancelled 7 days in advance.
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure time.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will be charged the full price of the trip.

No-shows will also be charged in full.
This policy allows us to manage our scheduling effectively and offer availability to other clients. We appreciate your understanding.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible.
We are equipped with all types of tackle for Bass, Bluefish, and Tuna trips.
At the end of each trip the Captain will gladly fillet the legal limit catch of the day.
